The 1000th Spring Preview

 Preview:
My name is Eric, and in my opinion, everyone makes mistakes, and they're all equally bad.  Does it really matter what you've done?  Calling someone's dreams silly and childish could have a worse effect than leaving your best friends behind to join the group of more popular teenagers who seem interested in you.  And some people's mistakes can be wiped away with an apology, while other's leave marks that last forever…
I never considered this before I met Tyler, and before I talked to Gray.  I never would have thought to.  I mean, all you would have to do is shrug off all of the bad times and they would be gone, only to be thought about in dreams.  But I was proved wrong when I made a deadly mistake that ripped our friendship apart and ruined my life and the lives around me.  I don't know why I did it-why do I bother doing anything?  But my life has never been the same since, and I can't imagine what that peace we took for granted was like, way back then.

And Tyler was right: it would take more than one thousand springs to give birth to a new era that would erase those mistakes for good, and as Gray says, you can never get rid of the past if you never take that first step towards flight.
And the two of them sure taught me a lot of things, and I only wish I could have done the same for them.  After all, it was Tyler that helped her through hard times, and she that helped him as well.  They both helped me, yet I could not return the favor.  I only wish I could have flown back in time and fixed it all, but now it's too late.

The 1000th Spring is my newest story that I will begin to work on.
